[photopress:logo_on_letters_70.png,full,alignleft]Lately, the world of the music fanatics was shaken when Multiply disabled its music search feature. After that, they stopped offering the option to download a user’s music.
Removing the search feature and download link doesn’t mean that multiply has removed the music files as well. You can still find a way on how to download music from multiply.
If you have noticed, Multiply did not remove the playlist link. We can actually use this playlist to download songs from multiply. The steps are very easy.
- Download the play list.
- Play the play list on your favorite music player. For my case, I used iTunes.
- Right click an item on the play list and choose Properties or Get Info.
- Most often, the URL of the song is displayed on the Information window.
- Copy the URL and paste it on your browser
- Press enter to download.

Multiply just removed the Playlist list, so I doubt if this trick will still work. The player is now flash-based, meaning, the songs can be played without leaving the browser. This is Multiply’s way to prevent users from downloading tracks.
