Hands on Photos of Samsung Omnia HD
Having techie friends has its perks. I was able to borrow a (beta) test unit of the new Samsung Omnia HD from Kuya Jayvee. I took advantage by taking these photos.

Since Samsung Omnia HD runs on the latest Symbian Foundation software, the new user interface (UI) looks pretty similar to that of Nokia 5800′s.
BlackBerry Storm 9500
BlackBerry Storm is bolder than its predecessor, the BlackBerry Bold.
The BlackBerry 9500 Storm is RIM’s (Reasearch in Motion) first touch screen phone. It features SurePress, the first clickable screen. According to RIM, SurePress is a touch-screen technology which emits a click sensation each time a user touches the phone’s screen interface. It ensures precision in navigation within the phone’s display giving the user a tactile feeling whenever a button or a key is selected on-screen. More »

Last December, Samsung shocked us when they launched the first 8.0 – megapixel camera phone in the country, the Samsung Pixon M8800 camera phone. If you think the 8.0 – megapixel camera phone is the ultimate multimedia phone from Samsung, then you’re wrong.

Samsung M8800 Pixon, officially launched
On my previous post, I wrote about the rumors of having the Samsung M8800 Pixon here in the Philippines. The long wait is over. Last December 3, Samsung Philippines launched in Metro Manila this 8.0-megapixel full touch camera phone. The phone was launched in The A Venue in Makati City where a lot of people from media, telecommunication companies, cellphone sellers, and bloggers attended.
I thought at first that Samsung M8800 Pixon is just one of those typical camera phones, but it’s not. Everytime Samsung launches a new top of the line product, they always make sure that it outstands all the existing products in the market and the Pixon made this remark into reality.

N82 Photography
The N82 is Nokia‘s ultimate gadget for photography. It’s Carl Zeiss 5MP Tesar lens captures every detail in a click. No other phone that I have tried can compare to the N82′s brilliance in capturing your subject’s details, whether it’s for macro, portrait and other types of shooting modes.
Another notable feature of N82 is it’s geo-tagging capability. It can utilize your phone’s built-in GPS to embed in the photo the exact location where the photo was taken. I have tried using it with Google Earth and Picasa and it’s perfect. Picasa loads the photo’s geotags into Google Earth and lets Google Earth show where on the

Choosing N82 over N95 8GB (N82 vs N95 8GB)
Like I mentioned on my earlier post about the N82, the actual phone I received from Nokia Philippines was the Nokia N95 8GB. But later, I found that N82′s features suits well for me as compared to the N95 (8GB).
