Mozilla Prism
I have discovered this great application which can be very useful for web application developers like me. It can turn your web applications into desktop applications.
The Mozilla Prism, which is currently at its development stage, is a desktop application which can split web applications from your browser and run them like a normal desktop application.
Mozilla prism was initially called Webrunner before it was moved to the Mozilla Labs for further improvement and development.
Mozilla prism is completely different from Adobe Air and the recently released Microsoft Silverlight. Unlike the two applications, Mozilla prism does not build a propriety platform that will replace the web applications.
According to Mozilla Prism,
We think the web is a powerful and open platform for this sort of innovation, so our goal is to identify and facilitate the development of enhancements that bring the advantages of desktop apps to the web platform.
Prism is currently available in Mac, Windows and Linux distributions. The application can be downloaded here.
I’m currently using Prism to run my Kalasag Database on Windows and Mac and it works fine with me. The application looks great on both platforms.

yeah it is. you can actually convert any web application into a desktop application.
