PLDT is doing this to force people to use their DNS servers so they monitor you. They resolve DNS requests to IP addresses on their servers, so all DNS requests are logged. This is totally out of line and must be brought to the attention of PLDT subscribers. They’re still blocking websites via OpenDNS’s filtering, but they’ve changed how they’re doing it:
