Globe to launch iPhone 3GS in the Philippines

Globe Telecoms, the exclusive TelCo partner of iPhone here in the Philippines, is scheduled to launch iPhone 3GS on July 31. Globe will start accepting reservations on July 15. For those interested and those who want to buy, you may call Globe’s hotline at 730-1000, or you may also visit the nearest Globe Business Center near you.

Globe is currently offering iPhone data plans starting at Plan P399.00. For more information about Globe’s iPhone prepaid and postpaid packages, you may visit iphone3g.globe.com.ph.

The iPhone 3GS, which was launched last June 8, is the fastest and most powerful iPhone yet.

    I checked the prices of the Globe iphone 3gs package on http://site.globe.com.ph/web/guest/iphone-price-updates?sid=9qa0pnsse6jbf1246732391231 and noticed that the prices listed are pretty reasonable. Because a 32GB 3GS open line is in HK and it comes out PHP 50,000 (so you still save at least 5K). In addition I have a globe line as we speak, so I wouldn’t really mind availing a closed line 32GB iphone.
