Nokia N900 Maemo Internet Tablet
Nokia released today its newest Maemo member, the Nokia N900 Internet Tablet. More than a year ago, I have featured and reviewed its predecessor, the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet. The N900 runs on Maemo, a Linux-based operating system, which is the same operating that powers the N800 and N810. Unlike its predecessors, the N900 is the first Maemo gizmo from Nokia that uses GSM and UMTS/3G technologies. More »
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 Problems

The eco-friendly 1 TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1TB (ST31000340AS) is starting to fail its customers.
This afternoon, I received an IM from one of my college friends telling me about his awful experience with the Seagate Barracuda 7200.11.
The Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 is a 1.5 TB eco-friendly laptop storage device. It saves 43% of power without compromising drive and system performance, according to Seagate specifications. My friend says otherwise. Just last night, while working on his laptop, his Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 failed him.
According to my friend, after the hard disk failure, he tried rebooting his system but to no avail. His computer was not able to detect the hard drive. He tried fixing the problem using standard trouble shooting methods but it still didn’t work. All of his works, projects and other important files were gone in an instant because he trusted the brand that he thought would never fail him.

iTable V.S. Microsoft Surface
With all the craze of touch screens and multi-touch technology everyone is just waiting to get their hands on these babies. The iTable and the Microsoft Surface.
Let me just give you a little clarification. The iTable is not an Apple product. It is developed by PQ labs and the Microsoft Surface is well.. Microsoft’s. So which is better, the iTable of the Microsoft Surface?
For now we can’t say much about who truly is better but we can give you a brief overview of why these beauties are to die for.
Microsoft Surface
Already agreed by most people, this multi-touch computer/table is very useful. You can utilize it for pictures, business, work, study, and more. The beautiful result of the touch is just simply amazing. The whole concept of wireless in this device is giving us a step closer to sci-fi technology similar to what you see in Matrix. One of the highlights of this device is the wireless device file sharing. You put your camera and the pictures just come out and Wham! You share your files with a flick of a wrist. We also have the convenience of shopping just by touching and dropping the credit card over the surface. Convenience at its best. More »
Samsung E590 Review: Traveller’s Suicide Phone
Samsung E590 has been in the market for quite sometime. For most of us, it s a sturdy phone, with a 3 megapixel camera. But why the title suicide phone?
The Samsung E590 is a phone made for the basic functions of a phone and quite impressively, a little over the basic phone features, the Samsung E590 caught my attention. When travelling, one must consider that it is of a great possibility that you will “misplace” your phone or forget it due to many factors. More »
Nikon included Projector in its Camera

The Nikon Coolpix S1000PJ is the world’s smallest and most compact Digital Camera with built-in projector. This new camera from Nikon changes the way you view pictures. Aside from the addition of a built-in projector, this camera boasts of its 12.1 Megapixel sensor and its 5x Wide-angle zoom nikkor lens which is perfect for capturing landscapes and group portraits.
This camera is also equipped with a VR System (Vibration Reduction), the same mechanism used by Nikon in its line of DSLR lenses, which reduces the effects of shaky hands.
This nifty gadget is available in the United States for $430. I’m wonder when will this camera be available in Columbia Digital and in Hidalgo Quiapo Camera Shops.
