The new Apple iPod Touch
The new Apple iPod Touch will probably sell like hot pancakes because of its new features such as: FaceTime, retina display, HD video recording, and the Game Center. It also makes use of the Apple A4 chip. This is the same chip that’s being used in the iPhone 4. These new features remind me of the iPhone 4. Thus, the new Apple iPod Touch is like an Apple iPhone 4 minus the phone features.
However, taking photos with it are said to be not as good as the iPhone 4. According to CrunchGear, it can only take photos at a 960×720 resolution which is weird because it can take HD videos at 720p.

Apple iPod Touch 32 GB (3rd Generation)
The third generation of Apple’s iPod Touch is still the king of the hill when it comes to portable, Wi-Fi-wielding media players. It looks identical to the 2nd generation models, but the capacities and prices are improved. There’s no built-in video camera, as had been rumored, which is a bit of a surprise, considering the less-expensive and much-tinier nano got one. With the touch, Apple’s focus remains firmly on music, and, more so than ever, portable gaming.
New additions such as Voice Control, graphics enhancements, improved accessibility, higher capacity, and a faster processor help to refine and already excellent product. The Apple iPod Touch 32gb also ranks the hottest electronic product at Amazon right now, dropping its price by up to $25.01 (8%).
My iPod Earbuds got broken
I dunno when or how it happened but when I used my iPod this morning, there was something wrong with the quality of sound I hear. I’ve been hearing some noise on the left channel of my earbuds. It’s very annoying specially when the music being played is on the rock and alternative genre. The cracking and noisy sound is very irritating on the ears. I tried checking the audio jack connected to my iPod but found it ok. I have no idea what caused the problem and all I can do is to declare my earbuds broken.
Apple finally released iPod Software 1.2.3 for 5th Gen iPods
After experiencing problems with iPod Software 1.2.2 last week, Apple finally released a new iPod to address these issues. iPod Software 1.2.3 for 5th generation iPods was released to fixed the bugs introduced in the release of 1.2.2. Apple did not disclose the details of the recent release. According to them, 1.2.3 only contains bug fixes.
I already updated my iPod 5.5 using iTunes 7.5 on my Windows OS. I didn’t experience any problems with the new update. This one is better than the previous release.
Problems with iPod Software 1.2.2
Few nights ago, I tried pluggin in my iPod Video on my friend’s laptop to charge its batteries. I got excited when I saw that there has been a new iPod software update. My iPod currently runs iPod Software 1.2.1.
Because of my excitement, I tried updating my iPod the following day. But to my disappointment, iTunes now says that the latest iPod software available is 1.2.1. I searched the net for the reason behind this. It’s not only me who experienced the same problem. When I checked Apple’s technical support page, it says that version 1.2.2 is the latest software available for all 5th Generation iPods. More »
