The Brand New Toyota Etios

Toyota revealed its new line of cars at the Auto Expo in Delhi. One of the car models that were revealed in the car expo in Delhi, India is the Toyota Etios. Toyota Etios was developed to cater the driving environment of Indian roads.
Toyota’s concept is to come up with a small family car that will sell at a $10,000 range. Hence, the Toyota Etios. The car is expected to be available to motorist consumers by the end of year 2010.
Faster internet connection for Pinoys, Telcos now working
Last month, the Asia America Gateway project went live giving PLDT and Bayantel faster transfer rates between Philippines and the United States. The Asia-America Gateway project is a 20,000-km, high-bandwidth fiber optic submarine cable system that connects Southeast Asia to the United States. It provides connectivity between Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Hong Kong SAR, Philippines, Guam, Hawaii and the US West Coast. The project was signed in April 2007 and it went live last November 11, 2009.

Moving into a new home requires a lot of things to be done, including installation of telephone lines, home cable, internet connection and other basic utilities. When I moved into my new condominium last September, one big problem I encountered was getting my telephone line and internet connection back. Though we filed earlier the request for the transfer of our telephone line from the old apartment to the new condominium, things didn’t go as planned because it was also during that time when the country was hit with Ondoy. Most of the contractors of our service provider was not available to attend our request, hence, prolonged my internet-less days.
Google Phone, the latest news
It’s not official yet but the Google Phone (a.k.a. as the G-Phone) is making quite a buzz lately. It has been rumored that Google and HTC are brewing something better under its top secret research facilities after HTC released it’s latest Android powered smart phone.
Just today, several Google employees confirmed the existence of the rumored G-Phone. In a twit from one of Google’s Product Managers, Leslie Hawthorn confirmed that Google phone is now in their hands. Several google employees also twitted similar messages.

One guy from Mountain View said, “The new Google Phone runs on HTC hardware. I saw it w/ Android 2.1. Homescreen has new visual enhancements like animated desktop wallpaper.”
From these developments, we can safely assume that the Google Phone is the in-thing that we can anticipate in the coming year.
