What is Globe’s 4438
There are several reasons for you to be happy on April 4. First, it’s the first weekend of April which means it’s your first summer weekend for 2010. Second, it’s Easter Sunday. Third, Globe is giving out a surprise to its 25 million loyal subscribers.
Different channels online are already making a buzz about 4438. We’ve seen 4438 in facebook, in twitter, in plurk and in youtube. But what is 4438?
I asked a friend, who’s an executive from Globe, about 4438. He didn’t share much information but according to him, on April 4 (Sunday), Globe will make all the 25 million Globe, Tattoo and TM subscribers happy. How? On that day, each of the 25 million subscriber will receive a text message from Globe containing a good news. So make sure that your phone is on on April 4 because they will be sending the message anytime on that day.
Another thing that will make you guys happier. The whole 4438 thing is not a promo, it’s for real. It’s Globe’s way of thanking its twenty-five million loyal subscribers.
