Olympus PEN E-PL1

Have you been acquainted with Olympus’ PEN E-PL1? Well, here’s a brief review that would definitely help you determine whether you’d choose this to be your top pick.

The technology behind Olypmpus PEN E-PL1 can produce the same good quality photos in those big, bulky and heavy professional Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras and High-Definition (HD) camcorders, but fortunately, it’s  a lot more handy. For it’s weight and size, this is absolutely smaller and lighter.

The E-PL1 also has a much-needed built-in pop-up flash. This enables to capture low-light objects while reducing red-eye effect and fill in dark areas.

If you’re into HD movie recording, then you don’t have to exert much effort. It has a dedicated red record button, located on the back of the camera body, for instant movie shooting. So whenever you are in photo mode and then suddenly you felt the urgency to do a video capture, then all you have to do is simply press the red button and  (viola!) you can get on with video capture on the spot. E-PL1 unveiled a whole new world of flexibility with the leisure of toggling back and forth between still photos and videos using only your index finger and thumb.

Lastly, this camera features a new Live Guide that permits advanced adjustments on the LCD screen before taking a shot, giving you the desired outcome with just a single button press. With this, capturing amazing pictures wouldn’t be that difficult for non photo-brain users.
