gphone1It’s not official yet but the Google Phone (a.k.a. as the G-Phone) is making quite a buzz lately. It has been rumored that Google and HTC are brewing something better under its top secret research facilities after HTC released it’s latest Android powered smart phone.

Just today, several Google employees confirmed the existence of the rumored G-Phone. In a twit from one of Google’s Product Managers, Leslie Hawthorn confirmed that Google phone is now in their hands. Several google employees also twitted similar messages.

Stuck in mass of traffic leaving work post last all hands of 2009. ZOMG we had fireworks and we all got the new Google phone. It’s beautiful

One guy from Mountain View said, “The new Google Phone runs on HTC hardware. I saw it w/ Android 2.1. Homescreen has new visual enhancements like animated desktop wallpaper.”

From these developments, we can safely assume that the Google Phone is the in-thing that we can anticipate in the coming year.
