Free video sharing service Motionbox announced earlier this month the launch of their commercial video service, Motionbox Pro. Motionbox Pro is a service intended for small businesses, pro-bloggers and commercial content producers who are in need of a comprehensive video hosting solution. The Pro service includes archival storage, web-based editing, streaming and embedding and support for superior high quality videos up to 1080p HD.

One of the few prominent organizations who uses Motionbox Pro is Reuters.

The product is currently sold at $25 per month with allocated 25GB for storage, 25GB bandwidth and $50 one time setup fee. Though they are also offering FREE Video Upload service through their Motionbox Basic plan, the company is still focused on the direction of doing business with consumers. Before the Pro edition was launched, Motionbox already charges for its Premium service in exchange for some value-added features not available in the basic plan.
