iTable V.S. Microsoft Surface
With all the craze of touch screens and multi-touch technology everyone is just waiting to get their hands on these babies. The iTable and the Microsoft Surface.
Let me just give you a little clarification. The iTable is not an Apple product. It is developed by PQ labs and the Microsoft Surface is well.. Microsoft’s. So which is better, the iTable of the Microsoft Surface?
For now we can’t say much about who truly is better but we can give you a brief overview of why these beauties are to die for.
Microsoft Surface
Already agreed by most people, this multi-touch computer/table is very useful. You can utilize it for pictures, business, work, study, and more. The beautiful result of the touch is just simply amazing. The whole concept of wireless in this device is giving us a step closer to sci-fi technology similar to what you see in Matrix. One of the highlights of this device is the wireless device file sharing. You put your camera and the pictures just come out and Wham! You share your files with a flick of a wrist. We also have the convenience of shopping just by touching and dropping the credit card over the surface. Convenience at its best.
iTable
PQ labs decided to come up with something smooth, thing and entertaining for the user. With the 8 minute long sample video, it did show me something pretty exciting to look forward to. One of the major highlights would have to be the Gaming experience. It gave a short clip showing Warcraft and boy did it look fun beating around the screen. Hope they won’t great something like “Test-your-strength” game for this baby. The map technology, however, was not too smooth. It looked like it hanged a bit. But generally speaking, this is one pretty device with a pretty price tag that says $5000. Care to spare some change?
Conclusion
These are cool gadgets and if I had the power to convert human excretions to money then I will buy this. On the mean time we can all wait for the prices to go down. As long as there is competition, there is always a price drop. I am just curious to see what Apple has got to show to compete with these guys.

Touch is getting very common now a days. There are even rumors(?) of an iTablet (though not as big as MS Surface). I have touch devices and I think that they’re cool. However, they get really dirty sometimes and, depending on the OS running it, can be laggish. I love them. GO TOUCH!
