Traveling with Sun Broadband
I was travelling recently and, as much as our country is technologically progressing, there were places where I found myself to be without an internet connection. Fortunately for me, I am a proud owner of a Sun Broadband Wireless(SBW) Unit.
Our airports are, admittedly, not the best but it has enough oomph to be pleasant enough. Except maybe for the internet connection. Or lack thereof. I sat in places designated for laptop users and like a good *ahem* oppurtunistic *ahem* person, searched for a free internet connection but lo and behold, there was none. What I found was a couple of “free” connections which were rather dubious and led me nowhere. So much for free. So I used my trusty and reliable SBW Unit and got not only a consistent and stable connection but fast too. With my connnection, I was able to set up plans and dates with my family and friends when I got to my destination for all day, everyday partying.
What I really like about my SBW Unit is not only is it fast and reliable, it’s also available everywhere I go. Our house is made of thick concrete walls and I learned that these kinds of walls block radio signals. That’s why I can’t connect to our house’s Wifi from my room even if it was just 8 meters away. But these walls were not a problem for my SBW unit. While my sister, using our paltry DSL via WiFi connection, was trying to show a video of my cousin dancing to my parents which only ended up with buffering that lasted forever, I was happily streaming the video with my SBW unit on my laptop with no problems whatsoever. Even if it was my hometown and I know it like the back of my hand, I would have the occasional mental block as to what and where to go to have fun. There were the usual hang out places but they can get repetitive. So it’s a good thing that the internet has a bunch of tips and advices as to the fun places to go to and things to do. With the use of my SBW unit, searching for these fun places was a breeze. Up in the hills? No problem, even with the trees all around you, the SBW unit did not have problems with finding a signal. Hungry? Looking for a good restaurant is no problem with the my SBW unit even if you’re in a moving vehicle so you can search on the go.
Though I would have loved it to have a work free vacation, I was too important to not check in at work once in a while. While strolling the malls and parks, I was able to connect to my work email and got some work done using my SBW unit. Emails were sent, issues were fixed and problems were solved all because I had a connection anywhere I went. With a connection that smooth, I didn’t even feel like I was doing work and my vacation felt as relaxing as it could be.
All in all, my vacation went well. No day was wasted doing nothing since I could set up dates and activities with family and friends via chats, emails, tweets and Facebook. Even if there was a little work here and there, because I could settle it immediately by having a consistent, fast and reliable internet connection with the use of my Sun Broadband Wireless unit, I didn’t even feel like I was doing work and the fun did not have to stop.
