A lot of PlayStation gamers are probably bored because the PSN (PlayStation Network) is still down. While Sony stated that the PSN was hacked, they haven’t sent any apology yet via email. This Sunday, Sony will have a press conference wherein they would tell you the results of their investigation. According to Sony, they are still working very hard to get their network running as soon as possible.
I do hope that Sony has learned a lot from this. Well, they should have learned from the experience of others. It is expected that Sony’s PlayStation Network can be a target for hackers most especially that users provide personal information and credit card information. Thus, Sony must have safeguarded the consumers from possible identity theft and credit card fraud that could have resulted from this.
