According to Sony, they are still working very hard to get their network running as soon as possible.

It is expected that Sony’s PlayStation Network can be a target for hackers most especially that users provide personal information and credit card information. Thus, Sony must have safeguarded the consumers from possible identity theft and credit card fraud that could have resulted from this.
