New Macbook Pro 2011 Features Thunderbolt and Facetime HD
Another breakthrough technology was unveiled by Apple as it released its new Macbook Pro on Thursday, February 24, 2011. The new Macbook Pro is packed with new features as it shares its new set of innovations that include all new quad core processors, Thunderbolt technology, and Face Time HD among others. The new Macbook Pro comes in three sizes: 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch with starting prices at $1199, $1799, and $2499, respectively.
The new Macbook Pro performs up to twice as fast as the previous generation. The 15-inch and 17-inch Macbook Pros both uses the standard new quad-core Intel Core i7 processors while the 13-inch models feature the new dual-core Intel Core i5 processor. These latest Intel Core architecture puts the processor, cache, memory controller, and graphics engine on a single chip that makes demanding tasks like editing HD video, compiling audio, or rendering a multilayered image file a breeze.

For all gamers or users requiring nice graphic display, the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models automatically switch to new high-performance AMD Radeon graphics processors. With up to 3x the performance of the previous models, they let you see more frames per second in 3D games, or work on HD video projects with more speed and responsiveness.
The new Macbook Pro also features the latest Thunderbolt technology which users can now take advantage to transfer data at lightning speeds. Thunderbolt is a revolutionary I/O technology that supports high-resolution displays and high-performance data devices through a single, compact port. It sets new standards for speed, flexibility, and simplicity. With two 10-Gbps data channels, you can transfer data more than 12 times faster than with FireWire 800.
Furthermore, the new Macbook pro also features the latest Facetime HD which gives you three times the resolution of the previous camera available in older models of the Macbook Pro. The FaceTime App for Macs is now available in the Mac App Store here for $0.99 for any Mac with a FaceTime camera. However, FaceTime HD is available only for certain Intel based Mac computers, iPhone 4, or the new iPod touch. There is a Huge Apple Inventory Sale! Lowest Prices of the Year!
