  • I love tablets, they increase the scale of my basic computing needs without adding the weight of a netbook.
  • I love netbooks, they give me the power of a Laptop (although minimized) without the major weight of the laptop.

I’m currently using my netbook EVERYDAY and EVERYWHERE.

The question is:

Will I love the Motorola Atrix, that provides the mobility of the phone, but the functionality (in terms of keyboard and screen) of a netbook?

Motorola Atrix 4G:

One of the first few things you got to know about this pone is that it is a dual core phone running on the android OS. Those two things are enough to make me go woah.

As of now I can’t say much about how it performs as I’ve only read about basic user experience of the unit and I’m still not sure if what they showed in CES 2011 is already the final unit for sales (if you think it is please share me a source).

What I can say is that the presence of a Laptop dock is one idea that I personally did not see coming and which made me say, BRILLIANT.

I currently have a netbook, an Android phone, and Blackberry phone. I’ve been thinking of getting a MacBook pro for my heavier tasks involving HD media. The problem is, I feel like my hands are full with my netbook + a MBP. This new innovation of a laptop dock has to be a one of the greatest inventions I’ve seen in the CES articles I’ve checked around.

Now the more important questions will be, can I afford to buy it after I purchase my MBP? T__T
