Comparison: Google Nexus S vs Samsung Galaxy S
After Google announced the availability of its latest Android product, the Google Nexus S, earlier this week, a lot of Samsung Galaxy S owners have started wondering how different Google‘s newest mobile phone. Samsung, the hardware maker of Nexus S, has not provided any relevant information whether Galaxy S will still be given support after releasing Nexus S.
We have done a little comparison and we believe that the Google Nexus S is derived from the earlier released Samsung Galaxy S. Though the Galaxy S lacks in NFC (Near Field Communication) functionality, everything else in the Samsung Galaxy S’ hardware specifications are pretty close, if not the same, to that of the Google Nexus S.
Also, the Nexus S is preloaded with Android 2.3, Gingerbread. Whether the Galaxy S will be receiving a Gingerbread update or not is still uncertain.
