Samsung Bada

Samsung Bada is Samsung’s very own smartphone platform. The first smartphone that is powered by Bada is Samsung Wave which will be out really soon.
Will Samsung Bada be able to compete well with iOS, Android, webOS, BlackBerry?
In November 2009, it was announced that Samsung will be dropping Symbian for their very own smartphone platform. Just like other popular mobile operating systems, Samsung Bada will have its own application marketplace. And just like the other platforms, developers will earn 70% of the sales generated from their paid applications. Developers of Samsung Bada apps will get full technical support.
Their certification process is developer-friendly as well. Each certification process is expected to be completed within 7 working days.
By the way, they have a developer challenge where there will be local developer challenges for Russia, Poland, Hungary, Philippines, China, Ukraine, Vietnam and Chile. There will also be a global developer challenge where the total prizes at stake amounts to $ 2,700,000! Learn more about the developer challenge here.
