Neo Philippines Launches new Notebooks and Netbooks
One of the local brands for computers and laptops is the Neo Laptops. They seem to be getting quite a name here in our country and they are rather aggressive when it comes to marketing.
I have to say it was quite a surprise for us when their style of launching their netbooks and laptops involved riding on an Edge Coaster and presenting the laptops. (I was quite afraid that they might drop those expensive products)
After the unique launch they discussed their products in detail in front of the press. They also allowed asking some questions.
I must say for a local brand and one with a competitive price one must be impressed with what Neo has to offer. They are by far, the cheapest brands I know. However, since I have never tried a Neo Laptop or Netbook thoroughly I cannot claim to know how well these notebooks work.
In terms of the basic look the Neo Notebook did run smoothly but I’m curious to know how it fares when added with some more programs and files on the desktop.
They also showed some pretty impressive specs like the whole accelerator thing where you can get twice the performance of your normal ram. So it’s kinda like self-overclocking.
I think Neo’s got some pretty neat gadgets but I can’t give out a review unless I’ve really tested one with it’s full capacity.
